1251 ...... a dream last night.
That longhair left my windows open and as soon as I walked in I felt cold, tgen irritated, then shut them with haste.
Then, a couple of minutes later, thought it would be good to have some breeze, so I opened them again.
The force of it made the frame slip out of the wall and send the entire window falling to the ground.
When my neighbour was standing somewhere below.
Ran out and apologised profusely but it hadn't hit him - nor his infant daughter he was wheeling around in a bicycle basket (!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)
I picked up the shattered remains of the window so I could gather evidence for uh, insurance purposes??? And was thinking as I collected up the wooden planks and surprisingly unshattered glass panes, that it was probably about time we upgraded to pvc, which we had previously declined, but now there was a reason to accept an upgrade ( the reason being there was a fucking windable rainable HOLE in my bedroom wall ) and with winter approaching i took a moment to gaze longingly up at the space that used to be My Window and wonder what part of the house i would sleep in until they got it fixed
