"have you ever been bowling before" asked my young colleague

"yes" i said "but years ago"

and i meant 16 years ago

when i took that trip to germany in my teens

and i wonder exactly how old my young colleague is

and i briefly consider bragging "I'VE BEEN BOWLING SINCE BEFORE YOU WERE BORN!!!!!!!"


.....I think, that if any of the younger colleagues ask me how i got so good at drawing, I'll be able to say "I've been drawing since before you were born"
